Job summary

Vereda Labs is seeking an Operations Engineer (AI-First) to own and scale our recruiting operations backbone in a hybrid setup. You’ll work with a modern stack and AI-powered workflows to automate recruiter tasks and boost productivity.

You will design data foundations, build automation across ATS, LinkedIn, M365, and AI services, and partner with the COO to ship high-impact features weekly. Proficiency in SQL, Python/JS, and CI/CD is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–6 years of professional experience, including internships.
• Track record of shipping 2–3 finished complex projects using AI and automation tools.
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) for building.
• Basic SQL and database design: writing queries, joins, and designing tables.
• Comfortable reading Python or JavaScript code and reasoning about its behavior.
• Documentation and Git or CI/CD experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve our recruiting operations platform and its data backbone.
• Identify bottlenecks in recruiting workflows and propose AI-powered improvements.
• Design the data and intelligence engine powering dashboards and AI workflows.
• Create workflows, processes and reporting automations integrating ATS, LinkedIn, M365 and AI services.
