Job summary

MISUMI Americas is seeking a Strategic Program Manager (Aerospace/Robotics) to lead complex customer programs across aerospace and robotics domains. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage risks, and drive on-time, on-budget launches while leveraging NPD/NPI expertise and high-volume manufacturing knowledge.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, delivering high‑quality solutions and championing new manufacturing technologies to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Robotics, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years managing programs in aerospace, robotics, or advanced manufacturing.
• Hands-on NPD, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing experience with CNC Machining, 3D Printing, Additive Manufacturing and Assembly.
• Customer-Facing Skills to lead complex technical engagements with aerospace and robotics clients.
• Strong program, risk, and time management abilities with a structured approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across multi-cultural, cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solver, relationship-builder, and technology enthusiast.

Responsibilities

• Be the Customer Advocate – Build strong relationships with aerospace and robotics customers.
• Lead with Collaboration – Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Fulfillment to scope, plan, and execute complex programs.
• Mitigate Risks – Identify and address risks during design and production phases.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert – Provide guidance on aerospace and robotics requirements and timelines.
• Drive Continuous Improvement – Optimize production timelines and reduce costs.
• Communicate with Clarity – Lead status meetings and align stakeholders on goals.
• Innovate Fearlessly – Champion new manufacturing technologies to speed development.
