Trane Technologies in Monterrey, Mexico, is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer focused on compressor assembly, related automation, and line-extension projects for the commercial HVAC unit. You will define processes, justify alternatives, support asset procurement, and coordinate samples, driving transfer to operations.

The role emphasizes equipment selection, DFM input, process capability, and collaboration with operations and design.

Formación

• B.S. or higher in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering; Master preferred.
• Experience in mechanical assembly supported by automation.
• Experience in manufacturing related project management.
• Equipment conceptualization for integration with systems.
• Experience with material handling design and operator aids.
• Leads new product or process redefinition efforts.
• Strong knowledge of lean, automation, quality, and design for manufacturing principles.
• Advanced English language skills; U.S. visa is required.

Responsabilidades

• Define assembly processes including equipment, tooling, automation, information, and material flow.
• Coordinate early sample builds and provide DFM input and manufacturing guidelines.
• Implement assembly, test, finishing, and packaging processes; include equipment acceptance testing and training.
• Justify equipment, write specs, and manage purchase and installation tasks.
• Contribute to manufacturing strategies considering product life cycles and technology.
• Coordinate tasks for sample prep, data collection, and improvement paths.
• Incorporate industry trends related to parts prep, assembly, automation, and information flow for equipment.
• Support new product introductions and major productivity projects with robust processes.
