Trane Technologies is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer specializing in scroll and screw compressor assembly for the commercial HVAC unit. The role involves defining processes, coordinating samples, and delivering production-ready automation and equipment launches.

You will work on projects to extend product offerings, improve productivity, and ensure safety and sustainability in operations. English proficiency and a U.S. visa are required for collaboration with global teams.

Formación

• B.S. in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (Master preferred).
• Experience in mechanical assembly supported by automation.
• Experience in manufacturing related project management.
• Equipment conceptualization for integrators.
• Experience with material handling design and operator aids.
• Led new product or process redefinition efforts.
• Lean, automation, design for manufacturing knowledge related to operator efficiency.
• Validation metrics and systems related to quality, cost, rate and sustainability.
• Strong project management and coordination with operations and design teams.
• Excellent communication skills and advanced English; U.S. Visa required.

Responsabilidades

• Define assembly process concepts including equipment, tooling, automation, and material flow.
• Coordinate sample builds early in design phase and provide DFM input.
• Implement assembly, test, finishing, and packaging processes with equipment acceptance tests.
• Write specifications, establish acceptance criteria, and manage procurement and installation tasks.
• Contribute to manufacturing strategies across compressor sites considering life cycles and goals.
• Coordinate tasks for samples, materials prep, data collection, and improvement paths.
• Incorporate industry trends in parts prep, automation, and information flow to stay productive and sustainable.
• Support new product introductions and major productivity projects in the factory.
• Contribute to safety, productivity, and sustainability initiatives.
