DSV Road GmbH is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support core Accounts Payable operations within the North America Shared Services team, handling high volumes of vendor inquiries and resolving invoice discrepancies in SAP.

You will research payments, maintain vendor records, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial records and timely payments in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• English proficiency at B2+ level or higher.
• Handle high-volume inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and respond to a high volume of AP inquiries from vendors and internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Research outstanding invoices in SAP to determine payment status and identify delays or discrepancies.
• Review vendor aging reports and ensure invoices are properly recorded.
• Post invoices in SAP; correct and reverse entries as needed.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and propose process improvements.
• Escalate complex issues to management with documentation and analysis.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver excellent customer service on AP matters.
• Monitor AP aging reports and assist with reconciling the AP sub-ledger.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate vendor records.
• Provide guidance to operations on AP-related inquiries and processes.
• Assist with special projects, reporting, and other duties as assigned by AP leadership.
