Job summary

Pandora is seeking a dynamic AP Specialist/Lead Specialist in Mexico City to serve as SME for AP operations, accounting controls, and process improvements. You will collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax and business stakeholders to drive compliance and operational excellence.

You will review supplier invoices, support the month-end close, assist audits, develop SOPs, and lead automation initiatives while coaching the AP team and documenting processes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in accounting/finance or tax within an international company.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and shared services operations.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, controls, and reconciliation.
• Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements.
• Familiarity with internal controls and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process and review supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment requests.
• Validate invoice coding, approvals, tax treatment, and supporting documentation.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies, blocked invoices, and payment exceptions.
• Support month-end close activities, accruals, and AP reconciliations.
• Provide training and day-to-day support to AP team members.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Participate in system testing and automation initiatives.
