Job summary

AUMOVIO SE seeks a motivated Accounting Analyst to support General Ledger, financial reporting, and audit processes within a multinational manufacturing environment. You will help optimize processes, ensure compliance with Mexican regulations and IFRS, and collaborate with Treasury, Tax, and Operations across locations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting or audit experience, strong Excel (Power Query) skills, and advanced English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, or External Audit.
• Previous experience in a External Audit Firm is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial analysis activities.
• Exposure to multinational or manufacturing environments is considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Mexican GAAP and IFRS is desirable.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, and financial data analysis.
• Experience using data automation and reporting tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP FI or similar financial applications.
• Familiarity with data extraction, reconciliation, and validation techniques.
• Understanding of internal controls, audit procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Basic understanding of database concepts, data structures, or analytical tools is desirable.
• AI-enabled productivity tools (Microsoft Copilotor similar technologies) applied to finance and accounting processes.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) is required.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Financial Reporting: Coordinate journal entries booking and documentation, reconcile balance sheet accounts, support month-end closing, monitor currency valuations, analyze financial information.
• Banking & Cash Management: Validate bank postings, perform bank reconciliations, support cashpool accounting, monitor cashpool balances and FX impacts.
• Audit & Compliance: Support audits, provide information to auditors, analyze accounting records, coordinate audit requests, ensure compliance with policies and controls.
• Billing Support: Reconcile invoices against tax reporting systems, assist with electronic accounting and reporting, collaborate with Tax on related matters.
• Projects & Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvements and automation projects, implement new accounting tools and procedures, document processes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Treasury, Tax, AP, AR, Controlling, Reporting, Operations; support accounting for multiple locations; communicate with local and global stakeholders.
