ARSAN International Consulting Group seeks a detail-oriented General Accountant to manage manufacturing accounting and ensure US GAAP and Mexican GAAP compliance. You will oversee AP/AR/GL, record inventory and production costs, and prepare standard financial statements.

With 7 years in manufacturing finance, you will support budgeting, perform variance analysis, and coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 7 years of experience in accounting roles within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel; strong grasp of inventory costing and overhead allocation.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and Mexican GAAP; ability to interpret financial data.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, and general ledger.
• Record and reconcile manufacturing-related financial transactions (inventory, COGS, production costs).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Assist budgeting and forecasting with insights on manufacturing costs and variances.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics to ensure cost allocation accuracy.
• Support external audits with documentation and explanations.
• Analyze data to identify risks, trends, and process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, including both US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and Mexican GAAP. Working closely with the finance team, you will be responsible for various accounting functions related to the manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7 Years of experience in accounting roles within the manufacturing industry.
• Validated Tourist USA Visa for travel.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in accounting software ( SAP,) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting principles, including inventory costing methods and overhead allocation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting external audits by providing documentation and explanations for financial transactions and procedures.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
• Participating in special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
