Nouryon busca un Account Manager - Polymer Specialties con sede en México para impulsar ventas y crecimiento en la región Centroamérica. Coordinará con clientes, distribuidores y equipos internos para ofrecer soluciones químicas especializadas y optimizar oportunidades de negocio.

Se requiere licenciatura en química o ingeniería, 3–5 años en ventas técnicas y dominio del inglés. El puesto es 100% onsite en la planta de Los Reyes y ofrece un paquete de compensación competitivo.

Formación

• Inglés 100% oral y escrito.
• Licenciatura en Química, Ingeniería Química o afín.
• 3–5 años de experiencia en ventas en la industria química o entorno técnico de ventas.
• Habilidades sólidas de negociación, gestión de proyectos, planificación y organización.

Responsabilidades

• Impulsar ventas rentables y lograr objetivos de ingresos y volumen para la región Centroamérica.
• Gestionar y hacer crecer relaciones con clientes directos, distribuidores y socios de ventas.
• Identificar oportunidades de negocio y ampliar cuentas existentes.
• Desarrollar estrategias de ventas, planes de cuentas, pronósticos y presupuestos anuales.
• Colaborar con Service técnico, servicio al cliente, marketing y otros equipos para soporte al cliente.

About the job:

We're looking for an Account Manager - Polymer Specialties to help grow our Polymer Specialties business across Central America. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving profitable sales of organic peroxides and metal alkyls while building strong, long-term relationships with customers, distributors, agents, and internal teams. In your future role as Account Manager - Polymer Specialties, you will:

• Drive profitable sales and achieve revenue and volume targets across the Central America region.
• Manage and grow relationships with direct customers, distributors, and sales partners.
• Identify new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
• Develop sales strategies, account plans, forecasts, and annual sales budgets.
• Monitor sales performance and recommend pricing strategies to maximize growth.
• Collaborate with Technical Service, Customer Service, Marketing, and other internal teams to deliver outstanding customer support.
• Provide product recommendations and help customers select the best solutions for their applications.
• Follow up on product samples and identify new commercial opportunities.
• Support contract compliance, billing accuracy, and customer issue resolution.
• Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Nouryon professionally and maintain strong relationships throughout the region.
• Participate in regional marketing initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

We believe you bring:

• Fully fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
• Able to work onsite 5 days a week at our Los Reyes plant.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of sales experience in the chemical manufacturing industry or a technical sales environment.
• Strong negotiation, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven success influencing customers, closing deals, and managing key accounts.
• Customer-focused mindset with a strong drive for results.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform well under pressure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of SAP, preferably within Sales & Distribution.
• Strong computer skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated.
• Collaborative team player with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

This is a permanent, full-time, fully on-site role 5 days/week at our plant in Los Reyes (La Paz).
