Job summary

Apparel Group in Kuwait is seeking a stock/inventory associate to receive, inspect, store, and issue merchandise for shop use. You will count, classify, and tag stock, assist sales staff with replenishment, and ensure security and housekeeping standards are consistently met.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift heavy items, and flexibility to work extended hours during sales and festival periods. Stock-taking support and accurate reporting are essential responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting up to 10 kg.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak periods.
• Attention to accurate receipt, storage and stock records.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect product quality and report discrepancies to store management.
• Classify and stock products in the stock room per procedures for quick availability.
• Tag newly arrived stock and process returns as directed by senior staff.
• Assist sales staff in replenishing shelves to maintain product availability.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and store security.
• Be flexible to extended hours during sale/festival periods.
• Record inward/outward inventory and maintain reports.
• Check for missing price tags and report the issue.
• Assist during stock take processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION OBJECTIVE The position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing merchandise for use in the shop

Key Responsibiities

• Receive merchandize and count it physically and electronically in order to ensure accuracy of information
• Inspect the quality of the products and report the discrepancies to store manager / assistant store manager about damaged products
• Classify and stock the products in the stock room as per the store procedures to ensure quick availability of the product
• Tag the newly arrived stock and / or return the products as per the instruction of senior
• Assist the sales staff in replenishing stocks on the shelves in order to ensure availability of products at all times
• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence
• Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping standards
• Flexible to work for extended hours during the Sale / Festival period
• Must be physically fit and ability of heavy lifting
• Record the inventory inward / outward and maintain the report of the same
• Check for missing price tags and report the same
• Ability to heavy lift and minimum of 10 kg weight
• Assist during Stock Take processes
