Job summary

Amaken in Kuwait City is seeking an experienced Training & Development professional to design and deliver programs for employees at all levels. You will lead onboarding, craft materials, and build learning resources to support restaurant operations.

You will assess needs, develop plans, and run classroom, on-the-job and online sessions. The role requires collaboration with store teams, maintaining records, and measuring training impact to improve service standards.

Qualifications

• Designing and delivering training programs.
• 5+ years in training and development.
• Experience in restaurant/hospitality operations.
• Familiar with e-learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs for employees at different levels.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
• Prepare training materials, manuals, presentations and other learning resources.
• Identify training needs through assessments and feedback.
• Develop training plans based on business needs.
• Deliver classroom, on-the-job and online training sessions.
• Support development of employees and store management teams.
• Monitor performance after training and provide follow-up support.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with Operations to address performance issues.
• Coordinate external training and work with providers.
• Support development of e-learning and digital training programs.
• Maintain training records and prepare reports.
• Build relationships with external training institutions.
• Stay updated on new training methods and best practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

• Deliver classroom on-the-job and online training sessions

• Monitor employee performance after training and provide follow-up support when needed
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements
• Work closely with Operations to identify performance issues and provide suitable training solutions
• Coordinate external training programs and work with training providers when required
• Support the development of e-learning and digital training programs
• Maintain training records and prepare regular training reports
• Build relationships with external training institutions and training providers
• Stay updated on new training methods and best practices
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information

• Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within restaurant or hospitality operations.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and restaurant POS/management systems.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and online training tools.
