Boutiqaat is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to own payroll accounting, employee financial transactions, and payroll reporting. You will ensure accuracy, reconcile balances, and maintain confidential records across monthly payroll processes.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in payroll accounting, a related degree, strong ERP and Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to enhance controls and reporting.

• Strong expertise in payroll accounting, benefits, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience calculating end-of-service provisions and leave accruals.
• Knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and month-end closing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and payroll regulations.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Attention to detail with analytical and deadline-driven mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Payroll Accounting & Accuracy: Oversee monthly payroll accounting, review payroll inputs, and ensure salaries, bonuses, overtime, deductions, and employee benefits are accurately recorded.
• Employee Benefits & Reconciliations: Calculate and reconcile end-of-service indemnity provisions, annual leave accruals, staff loans, employee advances, and other employee-related balances.
• Financial Reporting & Closing: Prepare payroll journal entries, reconciliation schedules, accrual calculations, and financial reports while supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: Maintain accurate financial records, safeguard confidential employee information, ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and support internal and external audits.
• Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies, strengthen payroll accounting controls, improve reporting accuracy, and support ERP, payroll system, and automation initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in payroll accounting, payroll administration, or employee-related financial accounting.
• Strong hands-on experience in payroll accounting, employee benefits, financial reconciliations, and payroll-related reporting.
• Proven expertise in calculating and reconciling end-of-service indemnity provisions, leave accruals, staff loans, and employee advances.
• A solid understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial closing procedures.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems, employee records, and payroll-related transactions.
• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, labor regulations, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
