Job summary

Boutiqaat is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to own payroll accounting, employee financial transactions, and payroll reporting. You will ensure accuracy, reconcile balances, and maintain confidential records across monthly payroll processes.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in payroll accounting, a related degree, strong ERP and Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to enhance controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant payroll accounting experience.
• Strong expertise in payroll accounting, benefits, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience calculating end-of-service provisions and leave accruals.
• Knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and month-end closing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and payroll regulations.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Attention to detail with analytical and deadline-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly payroll accounting, review inputs, and ensure salaries, bonuses, overtime, deductions, and benefits are accurately recorded.
• Calculate and reconcile end-of-service indemnity provisions, leave accruals, staff loans, and advances.
• Prepare payroll journal entries, reconciliation schedules, accrual calculations, and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records, safeguard confidential employee information, and support audits.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies and improve payroll controls and reporting accuracy.
