Job summary

Boutiqaat is seeking a Senior Treasury Accountant to lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury operations. You will manage banking relationships, oversee financing facilities, and ensure accurate treasury accounting and controls.

The role requires 5–8 years in treasury or corporate finance, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with ERP/treasury systems. Arabic knowledge is a plus in our Kuwait-based team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and professional qualification preferred (ACCA/CPA/CMA/CA).
• 5–8 years of treasury/corporate finance or cash management experience.
• Hands-on cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury accounting.
• Strong banking operations knowledge, reconciliations, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flows, and optimize working capital.
• Execute treasury transactions and manage banking relationships; oversee bank accounts and instruments.
• Monitor financing facilities, loans, and costs; identify liquidity and FX risks.
• Ensure accurate treasury accounting, bank reconciliations, and month-/year-end close.
• Maintain strong treasury controls and support audits; drive process improvements.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Cash Flow & Liquidity: Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flows, anticipate funding needs, and optimize working capital to ensure the right cash is available at the right time.
• Treasury Operations & Banking: Execute treasury transactions, manage banking relationships, oversee bank accounts, and coordinate guarantees, letters of credit, and other banking instruments.
• Financing & Risk Management: Monitor credit facilities, loans, repayment schedules, and financing costs while identifying and managing liquidity, foreign exchange, and interest rate risks.
• Treasury Accounting & Reporting: Ensure accurate treasury entries, bank reconciliations, interest calculations, financial reporting, and smooth month-end and year-end closing.
• Controls & Continuous Improvement: Maintain strong financial controls, ensure compliance with treasury policies, support audits, and drive improvements in treasury processes, systems, and reporting.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or an equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or cash management.
• Hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, treasury accounting, financing facilities, and working capital management.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, financing arrangements, treasury risks, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with online banking platforms and treasury transaction systems.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential financial information.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, distribution, or large corporate environments will be an added advantage.
