Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Mail Clerk at Ali Al Salem Air Base (ASAB), Kuwait, to support secure, accurate registered mail operations. You will maintain custody, process transactions with POS/RSS, and deliver professional service in a high-tempo overseas environment.

The role requires an active SECRET clearance and at least two years handling registered mail, along with familiarity with USPS systems and strict security procedures. This is a full-time position based at the military post office.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Minimum 2 years handling and processing registered mail.
• Minimum 2 years using USPS POS/RSS.
• Knowledge of registered-mail accountability and records.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, sort, secure, dispatch, and deliver registered mail.
• Maintain chain of custody from receipt to final delivery.
• Record and reconcile registered-mail docs, receipts, and logs.
• Use POS/RSS to process transactions and track mail activity.
• Perform inventories and report discrepancies or security issues.
• Provide customer service to authorized patrons and verify identities.
