Job summary

Anton Oilfield Services Group in Kuwait is seeking a Materials Engineer to manage techno-commercial support for procurement and maintenance teams. You will coordinate repairs, evaluate bids, manage spare parts, and ensure timely material availability using CMMS and ERP systems.

A strong background in mechanical/instrumentation/electrical engineering is required, with at least 8 years in relevant sectors. This role demands analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to drive cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical engineering.
• 8+ years techno-commercial experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or industrial sectors.
• 4+ years using CMMS, ERP, or inventory systems (Maximo, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and spare parts control.
• Experience in technical bid evaluation and vendor coordination.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and enterprise software.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor procurement activities to ensure the timely availability of materials for shutdowns, overhauls, and planned maintenance.
• Verify material availability reports and provide regular inventory and procurement status updates.
• Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records using CMMS and other enterprise software.
• Support continuous improvement of inventory management and procurement processes.

4. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, material codification, and spare parts management.
5. Experience in technical bid evaluation, vendor coordination, and procurement support.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other engineering or enterprise management software.
7. Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
