Job summary

Anton Oilfield Services Group is seeking a Materials Engineer to join the On Sync Energy Management Services Company in Kuwait. You will provide techno-commercial support to procurement and maintenance teams and coordinate repair, refurbishment, and procurement of major equipment and spare parts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering with 8 years’ techno-commercial experience in oil & gas or related industries, plus 4 years using CMMS/ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8 years of techno-commercial experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Industrial sector.
• 4 years of experience using CMMS, ERP, or inventory management systems (e.g., Maximo, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, material codification, and spare parts management.
• Experience in technical bid evaluation, vendor coordination, and procurement support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other engineering or enterprise management software.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide techno-commercial support to the procurement and maintenance teams.
• Coordinate the repair and refurbishment of major equipment and components.
• Liaise with operations, procurement, and stores to evaluate technical bids, resolve technical queries, and address material discrepancies.
• Review and manage spare parts requirements for new projects and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for material codification and procurement.
• Monitor procurement activities to ensure the timely availability of materials for shutdowns, overhauls, and planned maintenance.
• Verify material availability reports and provide regular inventory and procurement status updates.
• Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other enterprise software.
• Support continuous improvement of inventory management and procurement processes.
