Job summary

Azadea Group in Kuwait City is seeking a Head Waiter to supervise waiters, waitresses and runners, and to ensure guests receive timely, high-quality service. You will recommend food and beverages, take orders, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.

You will also train staff, conduct briefings, monitor performance, handle billing and complaints, participate in opening and closing procedures, and help achieve brand targets while maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Recommend food and beverages to customers, take their orders, and communicate them to the kitchen and/or bar staff accordingly.
• Supervise and serve food and beverages in accordance with the brand's procedures and standards to ensure outstanding customer service.

• Supervise the execution of food and beverage preparation techniques in accordance with the brand's standards and report any non-conformities to the manager.
• Prepare and send the daily order to the storekeeper to replenish needed items. Conduct weekly and monthly counts of crockery, cutlery, condiments, and other floor needs to inform the manager.
• Participate in the restaurant's mandatory opening and closing procedures to ensure work is performed to the required quality standards, including counting and recording tips, while adhering to norms and internal standards.
• Participate in achieving the set targets for the brand shop.
• Conduct briefings and training for assigned team members as needed. Monitor the performance of waiters and runners, providing feedback to higher management.
