Golden State Dermatology in Beverly Hills, CA seeks a Mohs Histotechnician / Medical Assistant to support both the laboratory and clinical teams during Mohs micrographic surgery.

You will prepare and process tissue, maintain QA/QC, keep logs, assist with specimen orientation, and help with patient care and room setup.

Qualifications

Support Mohs histology lab and clinical team during procedures.
Prepare and process tissue specimens with accuracy and QA/QC checks.
Maintain daily lab logs and compliance with safety standards.
Assist with specimen orientation and tissue mapping.
Provide direct patient care and clinical assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms and assist in Mohs procedures with sterile technique.
Accurately label, process, and track tissue specimens for Mohs surgery.
Stain and mount tissue slides for surgeon review.
Maintain lab supplies, equipment logs, and QA/QC procedures.
Support patient flow and documentation in the EMR system.
