Job summary

Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Mohs Technician for a 16-hour weekly schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays). The role involves cutting, staining, and preparing tissue samples for a dermatopathologist, with emphasis on accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Prior tissue cutting and preparation experience.
• Mohs histology experience preferred.
• ASCP Histotechnician/Histotechnologist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, stain and prepare tissue samples for dermatopathologist review.
• Operate lab equipment including microscopes, cryotomes and microtomes.
• Maintain accurate records and CLIA/QA documentation for daily workflow.
