Job summary

Golden State Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Mohs procedures and lab work while functioning as a floor MA. You will prepare rooms, review patient histories, and assist across back and front office tasks in a busy dermatology practice.

Training in the lab will be provided; multitasking and patient-centered care are essential as you help deliver high-quality patient experiences daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or medical assisting is preferred.
• Knowledge of EMA/EClinicalWorks EMR systems is a plus.
• Customer service mindset and strong communication with patients.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Assist dermatology providers during Mohs procedures and other dermatology treatments.
• Review patient history, visit reason, medications, and document notes in EMA.
• Assist with scheduling tests and treatments and support front desk as needed.
• Maintain lab areas, perform autoclave spore testing, and track medication expiration dates.
