Job summary
Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Accounting Clerk based in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, you'll support the accounting team during a transition by handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, performing cash reconciliations, and generating reports.
The position will initially be fully onsite, moving to a hybrid schedule after training, allowing work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Strong attention to detail and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or accounting clerk experience.
- Strong experience performing cash reconciliations.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices and route approvals.
- Enter AP transactions into the accounting system.
- Assist with accounts receivable and billing activities.
- Perform cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate recurring reports for the finance team.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end accounting activities.
- Support the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and special requests.
