Job summary
The Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant to provide guidance for retirement savings plans. The role includes conducting presentations and educating employees about plan features, along with participating in benefit fairs and new employee orientations.
This position is currently remote, requiring some travel (up to 25%). The ideal candidate has strong presentation skills and may be bilingual in Spanish.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Series 7 and Series 66 preferred; appropriate state insurance licenses required.
- CFP, ChFC or similar designations desirable.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group presentations to improve awareness of plan features.
- Actively participate in benefit fairs and new employee orientations.
- Assist Relationship Manager with targeted education campaigns.
