Job summary
Summit School Services in Kansas is seeking a Bus Assistant to support safe student transportation. You will assist students with entering and exiting the bus, monitor behavior, and help keep the vehicle clean while drivers operate.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must meet physical and medical requirements.
- Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training and attend safety meetings and in-service meetings.
Responsibilities
- Assist students entering/exiting the bus safely.
- Seat students and secure restraints (seat belts, car seats, wheel chair restraints).
- Monitor passenger conduct and safety rules; report concerns to supervisor.
- Assist Driver in keeping interior clean and presentable; perform paperwork timely.
- Attend training, safety meetings, and in-service meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
