As part of the staffing increase of Smart Engineering team, NTT DATA is looking for a FW/SW Embedded Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in the Automotive field.

The selected candidate will join the SYS/SW Engineering Unit with the following responsibilities:

• Design of FW/SW architecture
• FW/SW development using C programming language in compliance with MISRA C rules
• Ensure the correct application of SW Quality Rules (e.g., MISRA C, versioning, reusability, code development best practices, etc.)
• Analysis of bugs and related bug-fixing activities
• Support in the definition of FW/SW Test Cases

• BSc/MSc Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in FW/SW development using C programming language
• Excellent knowledge of C programming language
• Excellent knowledge of code versioning systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
• Knowledge of real-time systems and ARM microcontroller architecture
• Knowledge of SPI and BLE communication protocols
• Knowledge of MISRA C rules and guidelines
• Knowledge of debugging techniques and algorithm optimization techniques
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools

• Experience in SW development for Automotive ECUs in E/E systems field
• Knowledge of main Agile frameworks
• Knowledge of Linux operating system
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive SW architecture
• Knowledge of V-model for Product Development
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE or equivalent quality standards
• Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
• Knowledge of Automotive Cybersecurity principles and standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434)
• Deep knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication protocol and Bluetooth 5.0 stack
