Our customer is a leading industrial company.

We are looking for an EXPORT AREA MANAGER for them.

Job Description

You will support the growth of the company's business across distributors in France, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt. Your responsibilities include driving business in the assigned region, managing partnerships with distributors, developing and training their sales and technical knowledge. The position requires residence near Milan and involves approximately 60% travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Support business growth by acquiring new distributors within the region.
• Establish sales targets with distributors in alignment with company goals.
• Lead, support, coach, and mentor distributor teams to enhance skills.
• Conduct regular visits to customers and provide feedback for performance improvement.
• Coordinate technical sales training on products and tools to build technical expertise.
• Collaborate with marketing and product management teams.
• Stay informed about external technical and business developments, including competitors.
• Assist the Finance department in managing customer payments.

Education / Qualifications:

• Preferably hold a degree in engineering.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Have technical and commercial sales experience.
• Proven success in managing and motivating distributors.

Professional Skills/Abilities:

• Experience managing and coaching distributor sales teams.
• Skilled in sales techniques such as qualifying prospects, negotiation, and closing.
• Effective presentation skills.
