Amazon in Sicily is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to oversee yard operations, coordinating with Dock, Inbound, and Outbound teams to ensure FIFO processing and minimize impact on customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have transportation operations experience, strong project management, and leadership, with data analysis skills and the ability to standardize processes. Some weekend/night work may be required.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience managing teams.
Fluent Italian and English.
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Mansioni

Collaborate with Site leadership to improve punctuality of inbound/outbound trucks and safety metrics.
Streamline communication between Site, Network Operations Center, and carriers to optimize truck flow on the yard.
Report yard performance to local Site leadership and drive root-cause resolution with stakeholders.
Support site safety and compliance programs for a safe yard environment.
Identify and lead process improvements and Lean tool implementation.
Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs and track completed activities.
Develop standard procedures and share best practices with global transportation teams.
