Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Alessandria is seeking a Site Inventory & IT Manager (start-up warehouse) to safeguard inventory accuracy, ensure WMS performance, and support operations. You will link Operations, Inventory Control, IT, and customers to drive performance and continuous improvement on site.

The role involves leading 3 Super Users and 2 Inventory Operators, owning inventory control processes, and participating in system implementation and testing to optimize workflow and service levels.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in logistics or warehouse management.
• Experience leading operational teams.
• Experience with multinational customers is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Hands-on WMS experience.
• Strong inventory control and stock reconciliation skills.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Good IT and systems understanding in a warehouse.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 Super Users and 2 Inventory Operators.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute Inventory and IT activities.
• Manage and optimize WMS and supporting systems.
• Oversee inventory control processes including cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Maintain stock accuracy and inventory integrity.
• Monitor KPI on inventory accuracy, productivity, and system performance.
• Coordinate resolution of operational and system issues.
• Partner with Operations, Customer teams, and central functions to deliver service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes and system use.
• Participate in system implementation, testing, and change.
