Baker Hughes in Italy is seeking a Welding & Material Science Engineer to join our Industrial & Engineering Technology team in the Toscana region. You will develop welding and heat treatment procedures, conduct R&D on fabrication processes, and perform FEM analyses of welding and thermal processes, supporting production and new technology development.

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Material Science or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Experience in welding engineering and material science.
• Ability to lead programs/projects.
• Strong written and spoken English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Develop welding/brazing, heat treatment techniques, and procedures for fabrication of metals.
• Conduct R&D investigations to improve welding processes and equipment.
• Develop FEM analysis on welding and thermal processes.
• Prepare technical reports from R&D and maintenance investigations.
• Establish welding/brazing procedures for production and welding personnel.
