Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to fill a VP Global Demand & Delivery role based in Italy. The position leads global demand planning and connects it with multi-site production across Europe and the U.S., building an S&OP capability from the ground up in a fast-growing defense tech environment.

You will own forecasting, translate sales into production plans, and drive capacity alignment with Sales, Finance, Operations and site leadership, while expanding the global planning framework and metrics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demand planning, S&OP or production planning within hardware/manufacturing.
• Experience supporting fast-growing, multi-site operations.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning, scheduling, and supply-demand alignment.
• Ability to translate sales pipelines into actionable demand forecasts and production plans.
• Analytical capabilities with forecasting models and performance reporting.
• Experience collaborating across Sales, Finance, Operations and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain global bookings and demand forecast on a weekly cadence.
• Translate forecasts into detailed demand projections by platform, product type and configuration.
• Partner with Sales to validate demand and align with Finance and leadership.
• Match projected demand against production capacity across sites.
• Translate orders into early production requirements and coordinate materials and scheduling.
• Identify capacity gaps and advise on distribution or transfer of work.
• Support strategic capacity planning for US footprint expansion.
• Build and implement a scalable S&OP framework with dashboards.
• Establish and monitor planning metrics like forecast accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning across sites to ensure timely decisions.
