Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, in Taormina seeks a warm Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, coordinate arrivals and departures, and deliver a flawless first impression. You will review arrival lists, handle guest preferences, and work with concierge and housekeeping to ensure seamless stays, with Italian and English language fluency as a must.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in the Front Office or Reception in a 5-star luxury hospitality environment
• Hospitality mindset: Empathy, warmth and interpersonal skills under pressure
• Problem-solving & agility: Creative approach to guest feedback and issues
• Technical: Proficiency with property management systems (Opera PMS) and luxury admin procedures
• Languages: Fluency in Italian and English; third language valued

Responsibilities

• Review daily arrival lists, guest histories and room assignments to identify VIPs and preferences
• Conduct warm check-in/check-out and guide guests through a tailored property introduction
• Act as a dedicated liaison for guest inquiries, room movements and feedback
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Relations and Porters for welcome touches
• Maintain pristine Front Desk and lobby presentation reflecting Belmond luxury standards
