Job summary

Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, Taormina, seeks a poised Front Office Intern to manage the switchboard and support the Front Desk with guest registrations and data entry in the PMS. You will coordinate communications with Concierge, Housekeeping, and Room Service, delivering a smooth first impression.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Hospitality/Communications/Foreign Languages programs, with fluent Italian and English and a third language preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate from Hospitality Management, Communications, or Foreign Languages programs.
• Strong telephone etiquette with a refined, luxurious voice.
• Excellent multitasking in a fast-paced front-office environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hotel switchboard with professionalism per luxury standards.
• Route calls, log messages, and dispatch to Concierge, Housekeeping or Room Service.
• Assist Front Desk with guest registration, pre-arrival checks, and data entry in PMS
• Coordinate communications during emergencies following safety protocols.
• Maintain an immaculate workspace and professional demeanor.
