Job summary

Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, in Taormina seeks a Front Desk Agent who is empathetic, proactive and welcoming to greet guests with warmth from first contact through departure.

You will review arrivals and VIP preferences, manage flawless check-ins and check-outs, coordinate with Housekeeping and Concierge, and maintain the elegant lobby experience in line with Belmond's luxury standards. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with a third language valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Front Office or Reception within a 5-star luxury hospitality environment.
• Fluent in Italian and English; third language valued.
• Proficient with Opera PMS and luxury administrative/cashier procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review daily arrivals, guest histories and preferences; identify VIPs and special requests.
• Conduct flawless check-in/check-out and guide guests through a tailored property introduction.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Relations and Porters for bespoke touches.
• Maintain an elegant front desk and lobby presentation reflecting Belmond standards.
