HHLA PLT Italy in Trieste seeks a Control Room Specialist to oversee vessel, rail and yard planning, ensuring timely execution of operations from gate-in to gate-out. You will coordinate berth windows, vessel and train schedules, and communicate with external parties to keep operations smooth.

The role requires experience in logistics, strong Excel skills, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to work shifts including nights and weekends in a team environment.

Competenze

• Previous experience in vessel, train or yard planning (preferred).
• Experience in shipping agencies and/or port sector (preferred).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good Excel knowledge.
• Willingness to work shifts (including night shifts and weekends).
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.

Mansioni

• Monitor vessel, train, and yard planning and management.
• Coordinate berth and train windows and allocate resources.
• Transmit operational instructions to relevant departments.
• Communicate with external parties (Port Authority, agencies, ships, pilots).
• Manage documents and lists (disembarkation/embarkation, ro-ro, trains).
