Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Vessel Operation Coordinator to support the Vessel Operation and Mobilisation Manager in Milan. The role interfaces with Marine Operations, Asset and Crewing teams to ensure vessel readiness, cost control and compliance with project requirements.

The successful candidate will contribute to mobilization planning, maintain the operations plan, and act as a key contact during project execution in a hybrid Milan office environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Engineering, Engineering Technology or related subjects.
• 3-5 years of experience in submarine cable installation or related construction activities.
• Fluent in English and Italian with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the operation coordination plan for vessel readiness, maintenance and project delivery.
• Coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation activities with the Offshore Superintendent, Vessel Manager and other teams.
• Interface with Crewing, Procurement and Finance to ensure cost efficiency and vessel availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements across project execution.
