Job summary

Rotork is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer at our Porcari, Lucca site for a 9‑month fixed-term contract. You will own upstream supply chain activities to ensure on‑time delivery and optimal inventory, working with suppliers to parameterize raw materials and SKUs and maintain supplier master data in the ERP.

You will lead continuous improvement projects, leverage Lean methods, and coordinate with suppliers to minimize disruptions while ensuring end‑to‑end supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or relevant workplace experience.
• 2–5 years in Supply Chain Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing supply chains with Lean/process optimization knowledge.
• Proactive, accountable mindset.
• Fluent Italian (advanced) and professional English (C1).

Responsibilities

• Oversee upstream supply chain to deliver on-time delivery and inventory efficiency.
• Manage raw material and purchase part SKU parameterization aligned with business needs.
• Maintain supplier master data in ERP; escalate changes with suppliers.
• Use inventory tools to right-size material availability and in-transit goods.
• Measure and report supplier performance on lead time and order quantities.
• Build supplier relationships and drive root-cause countermeasures.
• Lead supply chain improvement projects with suppliers.
• Manage product portfolio and NPI with suppliers to minimize disruption and costs.
• Develop the supply base using lean methods to Rotork standards.
