Job summary

Rotork is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Porcari, Lucca site on a 9-month contract. You will design, implement, and document shop floor processes, supporting continuous improvements during a transformational period and working with Lean methods to improve efficiency and productivity.

The role requires a strong engineering background, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Solid Edge), and fluency in Italian with professional English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a technical diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing/Production/Industrial Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in an engineering-led production environment manufacturing electromechanical products.
• Practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles and CI methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Solid Edge) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and document shop floor processes.
• Participate in audits, technical support and problem investigations/resolutions.
• Drive efficiency, quality and productivity improvements using Lean tools.
