Job summary

DNV Group is seeking a Training Sales Area Manager in Italy (Rome) to expand sales of Training & Personnel Certification services. You will identify client training needs, develop solutions, and close Public and In-house training offers, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 60% field activity, travel within Italy, and a proven track record in corporate training sales. A Bachelor’s degree and fluency in Italian and English are required, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Sales experience in corporate training services is a plus.
• Strong communication, sales and negotiation skills are essential.
• Independent and responsible in implementing entrusted tasks.
• Creative and open to new solutions and concepts.
• Excellent work organization and MS Office proficiency.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the market to understand trends, opportunities, and competitors’ strategies.
• Identify clients’ training needs and provide suitable training solutions.
• Prepare, negotiate and close offers for Public and In-house Training and Personnel Certification services.
• Ensure achievement of assigned sales targets and unit targets.
• Collaborate with other functions within the Training & Personnel Certification Team.
• Dedicate at least 60% of weekly activities to contacting prospects and visiting customers.
• Support lead-generation activities and provide input for forecasting and KPIs.
