Overseas Adventure Travel/Grand Circle Corporation is seeking a Manager of Trip Leaders Team based in Rome. You will lead and develop a dynamic group of tour guides, design training programs, and coordinate travel schedules to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills, plus the ability to travel on short notice and manage performance. This is an international team environment with opportunities for growth and competitive

Competenze

• Experience leading, training, and coaching teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build trust-based relationships and motivate staff.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Mansioni

• Recruit and train Tour Guides aligned with company values.
• Build and maintain hiring/training plans for all products.
• Lead Tour Guide meetings and sessions in-office and on the road.
• Create individualized training plans for new Tour Guides.
• Support and coach the Tour Guide team to achieve excellence.
• Conduct live coaching via phone, Teams, and in person.
• Ride along on tours to assess performance and provide support.
• Assign Tour Guides based on performance and needs.
• Address underperformance when necessary.
• Engage with travelers during tours and provide 24/7 emergency support.
• Manage administrative tasks while traveling and in the office.
• Review feedback to inform coaching plans.
• Deliver weekly reports to Regional Leadership.
