Baker Hughes is seeking a Test Bench Leader to oversee erection, testing and disassembly of test benches for turbomachinery. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary operations, ensure safety and quality, and manage external suppliers, engineering and manufacturing teams to meet production plans.

The role requires a mechanical/energy engineering background, strong communication and project management skills, and fluency in English and Italian.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Energy, Electrical, or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Solid understanding of turbomachinery system architecture and commissioning operations.
• Fluency in English and Italian.

Responsabilités

• Drive string test operations, including test bench erection, turbomachinery installation, and gas loop installation.
• Supervise external suppliers’ assembly, lifting, welding and mechanical/electrical work.
• Provide technical guidance for non-conformity resolution with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
• Prepare and maintain operational quality and safety reports and checklists per QA requirements.
• Monitor budgets and adjust plans to optimize costs.
• Capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
• Contribute ideas to improve test bench activities and processes.
• Maintain a strong focus on HSE and Quality throughout all phases.
