Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Manuf Eng Specialist at our Talamona, Lombardy site in Italy. You will support development, optimization and execution of high-tech turbomachinery manufacturing processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality, productivity and safety.
The role requires a mechanical engineering background, experience in machining and process support, and fluency in English and Italian.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, machining, or process support in industrial environments.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM, CNC machining, automation, robotics or additive manufacturing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support development, optimization, and standardization of manufacturing processes to improve quality, productivity, cost, and cycle times.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and operations teams to ensure robust, efficient manufacturing solutions.
- Contribute to introduction of new products, processes, and technologies in manufacturing (Production cycles, CAD/CAM).
- Analyze process performance, production feedback, and data to identify improvement opportunities for decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, standards, work instructions, and process information.
- Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot issues and reduce downtime.
