BTO Research in Milan is seeking a senior technical leader to own complex transformation initiatives from definition through delivery. You will collaborate with senior developers, architects, product teams, vendors and stakeholders to drive architecture decisions and critical outcomes.

The role starts as a senior individual contributor with potential evolution toward Product Owner or similar roles, requiring strong communication and problem-solving in a cross-functional EU environment.

Competenze

• Extensive experience in technical career paths such as Software Engineering, Architecture or Systems Engineering.
• Ability to decompose large technical problems into manageable workstreams.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, product teams, architects, vendors and business stakeholders.

• Take ownership of large, ambiguous technical transformation initiatives from definition through delivery.
• Break complex problems into clear, executable workstreams.
• Coordinate and align engineering teams, architects, product teams, vendors and business entities.
• Work with technical teams to understand architecture, dependencies, integrations and constraints.
• Challenge technical designs, estimates and proposed solutions when necessary.
• Evaluate trade-offs and support sound decision-making.
• Identify risks, dependencies and scalability issues before blockers.
• Drive alignment across teams without formal authority.

• Support platform standardization, system integration and large-scale rollouts.
