Saj Electric in Lazio, Italy, seeks a Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer to assist Sales Managers, distributors, installers, EPCs, and key customers with product selection and system configuration. You will provide after-sales support and drive technical training and events in the Italian market.

The role requires strong PV, inverter and storage knowledge, plus travel across Italy and Europe. Fluent Italian and good English are essential; Chinese is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, Automation or a related technical field.
• Experience in solar PV, inverter, battery energy storage or renewable energy systems.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, inverters, batteries, electrical systems and system commissioning.
• Experience in technical support, field service, application engineering or pre-sales engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with installers, distributors, EPCs and professional customers.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and Europe.
• Fluent Italian and good English; Chinese preferred.

• Provide pre-sales technical support to sales teams and key customers on product selection, config, and solutions.

• Deliver after-sales technical support, troubleshooting installation, commissioning, communication, software and product-related issues.
• Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key customers through regular meetings, visits and project support.
• Support new product launches, technical training, webinars, workshops and customer events in the Italian market.
• Collect and communicate customer requirements, market feedback and recurring technical issues to Product and R&D teams.
• Support local product testing and validation, including firmware, software, compatibility and system integration testing.
• Maintain and localise technical documentation such as manuals, FAQs, troubleshooting guides and training materials.
• Work closely with Sales, Product, Service and R&D teams to ensure timely resolution of customer and product issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, Automation or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in solar PV, inverter, battery energy storage or renewable energy systems is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of PV systems, inverters, batteries, electrical systems and system commissioning.
• Previous experience in technical support, field service, application engineering or pre-sales engineering is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable communicating directly with installers, distributors, EPCs and professional customers.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to manage technical issues independently.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and occasionally within Europe.
• Fluent Italian and good English skills are required. Chinese is preferred.
