ABB Energy Industries Division is seeking a senior service engineer to ensure delivery of service portfolios across energy production systems. You will provide technical support, solve complex control logic problems, and engage with customers and sales teams to identify opportunities, both remotely and on-site across Italy.

The role requires deep knowledge of INFI90, Harmony and S+ Suite, and a strong command of industrial protocols, with a willingness to travel within Italy for assignments and

Competenze

• At least 5 years of experience in service activities.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams on design of control logic for energy production systems (DEHC, BMS, boiler).
• Strong knowledge of power market software applications such as Reactive Power Regulation Sart and Primary Frequency Regulation.
• At least 5 years' experience in commissioning of the above applications and control logic.
• Experience using virtualized systems for configuration, operation and maintenance.
• Expert knowledge of INFI90, Harmony and S+ Suite for Operation, Engineering and Historian; familiarity with AC800F/AC800M, S800 and AC500.
• Excellent knowledge of industrial protocols (Profibus, OPC, Modbus).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations for power generation facilities.
• Willing to travel for assignments averaging two weeks in Italy; available for on-call duty.

Other ABB automation lines, like AC800F / AC800M, S800 and AC500 suiteExcellent knowledge of the standard protocol used in the industrial market like Profibus Master/Slave, OPC, ModBus, etc. Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations applied to power generation facilities.Candidates must be willing to travel for assignments averaging two weeks in duration, focusing on preventive maintenance or commissioning activities—primarily at sites within Italy; some tasks may also involve short-term interventions lasting approximately 2–3 days.
