ABB in Italy is hiring a Procurement professional to buy materials per technical specs, price, delivery schedules, and terms within corporate policies. You will identify new suppliers and qualify them with supplier quality and engineering teams.

You will negotiate agreements, adapt contractual frameworks to local needs, evaluate bids, track deliveries, and manage supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and invoice accuracy.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs.Analyzes and evaluates bids in order to determine the optimal value.Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing. Oversees supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolves performance issues.Initiates Purchase Orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors, and tracks supplier performance to PO requirements.Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on ERP or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.Qualifications for the roleYou hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Economy.You are at ease communicating in English and Italian;Good knowledge of MS Office (excel, access, word, ppt);Good knowledge of digital tools (Power BI, etc..) is considered a plus.
