Danieli Breda, part of Danieli Group, is seeking an experienced service engineer for after-sales support in Lombardia, Italy. The role involves customer assistance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for extrusion presses and related equipment.

Responsibilities include on-site interventions, offers for service and spare parts, and coordination with Product Master plans. Strong English and a technical degree are required, with a preference for metallurgical background.

Competenze

• Engineering/technical degree or high school diploma (metallurgical engineer preferred).
• Minimum 10 years' experience within installation and/or servicing of/for presses and forges or CNC machines.
• Good knowledge of English (German or Spanish as a second language preferred).
• Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office.
• Cad-One Cad experience.
• Plant construction and installation experience specific to the competency area.

We are currently reinforcing our Danieli Breda area.

To follow-up the after sales operation in terms of Customer assistance and consultancy in the maintenance of extrusion presses and forges and/or correction and upgrade of existing equipment. The duty includes not only the corrective action upon Customer call but also the approaching to preventive maintenance as well as any other improvement and upgrade based on experience gained by the business unit in other context/client. To take also care of periodical visit to all existing Customer - in co-ordination with the Product Master plans - to assist, consult, propose process improvements and collect production and operational data.

• Sharing of collected information and knowledge with the whole team and especially direct contact and co-ordination with the Product Master;
• Keep periodical - direct and undirect - contact with all Customers;
• Collect customer documentation and enquiries about claims and/or general observations;
• Prepare offer/plans for servicing;
• Visit Customer premises for servicing, direct work and/or advisory;
• Prepare Reporting and provide full comprehensive feedback about Customer status of operations.

Technical Requirements

• Engineering/technical degree or high school diploma (metallurgical engineer will be preferred);
• Proven working experience of minimum 10 years within Installation and/or Servicing of/for Presses and Forges or CNC Machines.
• Good knowledge of English (preferably second language, German or Spanish);
• Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office
• Solid capability in intervention/servicing in both Mechanical and E&A Areas;
• Cad-One Cad;
• Construction & Installation: Plant construction (specific for competence area);

The company applies the National Collective Agreement for the Metalworking Industry. The gross annual salary for this position starts from € 52.500 and will be defined based on objective and neutral criteria, such as professional experience, skills, and the level of autonomy required by the role.
