Stellantis in Italy (Torino) is seeking a Technical Pilot to oversee technical objectives of a project, ensuring technical consistency, change management, configuration control, and effective coordination among Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Plants. The role supports design validation, BOM management, and interface with suppliers and project teams.

Competenze

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automotive design, development or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of PMO and project management processes.
  • English level B2 or higher.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and in an international environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

  • Supports decision-making processes and escalation of design conflicts and manufacturing issues.
  • Coordinates Change Management activities and tracks technical evolutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supports vehicle technical composition, configuration and complexity management (Scope Sheet, BOM, technical packages).
  • Supports component and system development activities, including design validation, process validation and kick-off tooling preparation.
  • Ensures synchronization of engineering modifications with project planning and industrial requirements.
  • Coordinates technical activities with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Plants and Project Stakeholders.
  • Facilitates issue resolution and convergence between Product and Process during development and industrialization phases.
  • Supports connection and interface management to ensure technical robustness and packaging consistency.
  • Monitor project technical KPIs and support reporting activities.
  • Contributes to quality convergence and readiness activities from prototype phases through SOP.
  • Coordinates vehicle technical updates and retrofit actions on prototype and pre-series vehicles when required.
  • Ensures effective communication among Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers and Project Teams.

Job Overview

Under the authority of the Technical Manager, the Technical Pilot oversees technical objectives achievement of the Project, by ensuring technical consistency, change management, configuration control, cross-functional convergence and effective coordination among Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Plants.

Main Activities

Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years of experience
  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
  • General knowledge of automotive design, development and manufacturing processes.
  • Good understanding of PMO and project management processes.
  • Would be appreciated the experience in product development, industrialization or project coordination activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and SAP.
  • A level of English no lower than B2 is strictly required.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Offer
  • Salary range: from 385.000€ to 44.000 €, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements
  • Collective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.
