Agoda is seeking a Tax Platform Director based in Bangkok, with relocation provided, reporting into the VP of Product, FinTech. This role will own end-to-end ownership of Agoda’s proprietary tax platform and drive strategy to meet evolving global tax regulation.

You will lead multi-year transformation efforts, oversee platform capabilities for multiple products and brands, and partner with finance and engineering teams to ensure scalable, compliant tax operations.

Competenze

• 10+ years in product management or similar roles.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience building or transforming in-house tax platforms.
• Deep knowledge of indirect tax for digital businesses (VAT/GST).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Mansioni

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Agoda’s global tax platform.
• Partner with Group Tax to translate regulatory, audit, and business requirements into product outcomes.
• Lead multi-year transformation initiatives to support multiple products and brands.
• Make buy‑vs‑build decisions for tax engines and e-invoicing providers; manage integration strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering to shape architecture and prioritize technical investments.
• Govern tax configuration and change management; drive governance and controls.
