Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the technical side of mid-enterprise opportunities, aligning security solutions with customer needs. You will work with sales to translate requirements into Fortinet architectures, deliver demonstrations, and guide POCs through to closure.

The role requires strong security know-how and customer-facing communication. You will collaborate across sales, channel, services and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes, staying current with Fortinet

Competenze

Experience in a pre-sales/solutions engineer role or similar customer-facing technical position.
Ability to manage end-to-end technical aspects of sales opportunities to closure.
Knowledge of modern security architectures (SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, cloud security, SOC).
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, IPsec.
Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fortinet experience and certifications (NSE, CCNP, CISSP) are a plus.

Mansioni

Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle with mid-enterprise customers from discovery to RFPs when required.
Develop Fortinet solutions addressing customer business and technical challenges in collaboration with sales.
Be the primary technical contact for customers, coordinating with partners and internal teams.
Lead and support POCs and drive technical closure.
Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, whiteboarding sessions, and solution workshops to varied stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to expand and strengthen customer security architectures with Fortinet solutions.
