Alpitronic Americas LLC in Bolzano, Italy, is seeking an individual to oversee norms and safety standards for new technology in e-mobility. You will be responsible for compliance documentation and risk analysis while collaborating with regulators and stakeholders.

• Work experience in electrical safety compliance and type approval certifications.
• Knowledge of European directives for CE conformity.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide an ownership of applicable norms and safety standards for all products & equipment developed by R&D
• Establish processes & methodologies to monitor and ensure the relevant compliance with applicable regulations
• Perform risk related analysis and monitor/drive the implementation of mitigating actions as per the defined action plan and in compliance with national regulations
• Draft and update all risk & compliance related technical documentation and declarations of conformity
• Carry out compliance analysis for new markets entry and support discussions with local authorities
• Support certification processes with national test agencies
• Work with corporate requirements management tools, promoting suggestions and improvements

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Completed studies in electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics
• Work experience and training in electrical safety compliance and preferably also in type approval certifications.
• Knowledge of European directives for CE conformity declaration (Low Voltage Directive, EMC, Radio Equipment Directive, Machinery Directive, RoHS, REACH)
• Experience in risk assessment and mitigation according to EN ISO 12100
• Knowledge of Eichrecht and MessEG/EV regulation is a plus
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, proactive and excellent communication skillsFluent in Italian and/or German, as well as in English
